Promoting health education through mobile apps

Introduction: Promoting health education through different platforms (patient portals, social media, websites) has become a common practice in many countries. Recently, hospitals have prioritized mobile apps as tool. Objectives: This paper aims to analyze how should use promote efficiently and this way improve their relations with patients. Methodology: To answer question, we carried out literature review about education, apps, patients’ empowerment, noncommunicable diseases; then, resorted 38 indicators the top 150 world manage these education. Conclusion: We concluded that three main criteria consider when using for purposes are: 1) respecting needs terms of information emotional support; 2) evaluating professionals’ skills literacy; 3) considering public priorities.
